How to Detect Metal Object in Non-Ferrous Metal Mode

• Press the SELECT key until the display shows " M" under the NON-FERROUS METAL mark which is just above the display. Now the detector is in Non-Ferrous Metal mode.

• Carefully adjust the CRITICAL VOICES knob until the detector emits a faint sound (threshold sound). Hold the detector by its handle with your arm relaxed on the armrest.

• During detection, the searchcoil should be parallel to and about 10cm above the ground.

• Walk slowly forwards while moving the searchcoil slowly from side to side.

• When the detector detects non-ferrous metal object, the volume of the detector's sound will increase and the number of the displayed level indicator bars will also increase.

• When the detector detects ferrous metal object, it will not give alarm or it will sound very short beep(s).
